Commonly known as the non-surgical eyelid lift, the non-surgical blepharoplasty uses plasma to create a small arc of electricity with our PlexR device, which targets superficial skin cells using precisely applied heat. This vaporises excess skin in the eyelid or undereye for a long-lasting tightening effect.

After PlexR treatment, the treated area will develop small scabs as the skin heals. These tiny micro-traumas stimulate collagen production, helping the skin become stronger, firmer, and more youthful. It is very important not to pick at or disturb the scabs and to allow them to fall off naturally. While the area is healing, you can lightly cover the marks with a mineral foundation, such as Vichy, until the skin has fully recovered.
PlexR is ideal for the sensitive areas around your eyes as it does not cause damage to the surrounding and underlying skin. PlexR can treat the upper eyelids and below the eyes but the treatment of each much be done separately to reduce the effects of swelling during recovery. It is available in our clinic in London.

After an in-depth consultation with one of our specialist cosmetic doctors you will be prepped with topical anaesthetic for comfort. The procedure will leave behind tiny scabs which will clear up within 2 to 3 weeks.
You may also experience some slight soreness and swelling in the treatment area, but this will also soon subside. Individuals results may vary and healing time may be quicker or slower for depending on the individual.
In some cases only a single session is required. Where skin in very lax and hanging low, multiple sessions might be required to achieve optimal results. This can be determined in consultation with your doctor.
The removal of the skin is instant and can be seen as the device treats the area. There is associated downtime to treatment, so results are best seen at 2 weeks once swelling and crusting has subsided.
